This stainless steel wire rope balustrade can be made the length you require. You just select the wire diameter and assembly length in metres to suit your needs (max length 30m).

The wire used in this assembly is 1x19. This was selected for its strength. 

End 1: A welded swage fork

End 2: Welded fork and swage stud tensioner

This system is especially suitable for:

• Projects with budgetary restrictions
• Balustrade where a sleek design is not required

System lengths up to 30 metres are available.


Your system length is measured in metres from pin centre to pin centre as shown in the image above.

The table below provides technical data to help select the wire diameter and fork / clevis jaw dimensions for your fixing points.

The tensioner is threaded left hand one end and right hand the other. +/- adjustment is achieved by rotation of the tensioner body in a clockwise/anti-clockwise direction. 

Once adjusted the tensioner is locked in place using the hex nuts on the swage stud end. 

Clevis pins are locked with split rings which are supplied as standard at both ends. 

Wire rope balustrade systems are supplied ready to install. The tensioner is set to mid point which allows equal adjustment in and out (+/-).
